Radio Sidewinder Crew

We have two in-game factions… the Radio Sidewinder Crew [RSC] (based in the main bubble) and Radio Sidewinder Galactic [RSG] (based in the Colonia region of space).

We are an independent faction with over 200 members.

The RSC is made up of players from all around the world who like to hang out on Discord, run missions and explore together. We are explorers, pirates, traders, mercenaries and everything in between, both PVE and PVP. A rag-tag bunch of commanders who have joined together under the banner of Radio Sidewinder. We are a neutral independent group focused on expanding our influence and “the signal”.

Our sister faction, based in the Colonia region is called Radio Sidewinder Galactic [RSG], a theocractic government that worships “the signal”.

The RSC Rangers are the team who are more strongly focused on supporting our in-game faction (BGS play). They will often enlist the support of all available RSC players to assist with our expansion across the galaxy! The Rangers are currently organized into three Flights:

Can you spare a couple of minutes to talk about “the signal”.

The signal is our radio broadcast spreading far and wide across the galaxy. More and more Commanders are now appreciating the power of the signal and its influence on the galaxy. The signal contains entertainment, news and information. Information is knowledge, knowledge is power!

What is the goal of the Radio Sidewinder faction?

Members of The Radio Sidewinder Crew minor faction are actively engaged in the promotion of free speech and great tunes... because music unites the Universe and information is power!

It's our aim to make Radio Sidewinder the premier information network whilst educating and entertaining Commanders, both new and experienced.

One of main goals is to control our region of space, 30 light years around our home system of Tago.

How can I assist the Radio Sidewinder Crew?

The Radio Sidewinder Crew (RSC) have various different jobs you can do.

You could be involved in combat, trading, mining, prospecting or something more administrative like recruitment. We post regular updates in our Discord channel about our current objectives.

Who and what is the Radio Sidewinder Crew?

The Radio Sidewinder Crew (RSC) is the collective name given to members of this minor faction. Radio Sidewinder is an independent, media organisation that broadcasts music, news and gossip to Commanders across the Galaxy. The organisation has become so large that it was now started to form a Government and control entire systems. RSC is an independent, democratic minor faction based around the system of Tago.

In the early 21st Century media organisations on Sol grew extremely rich and powerful. They controlled many information and news channels and the growing population had an insatiable appetite to get the latest information via their electronic devices. Whilst Radio Sidewinder is not that old, having been formed in 3301, the galaxy still has that same insatiable appetite for information and entertainment. This has enabled the RSC to grow very quickly and establish itself as a minor faction/government.

How to Help RSC

Have fun! We have created some rules and structure to our faction but we are here to have fun. Take part in our events – racing, meet ups etc.

Cheating

The use of hacks is not permitted. Anyone caught cheating will be dismissed from the faction and ejected out the nearest airlock.

Inara

Inara is useful for us to see what ships you have and what type of Commander you are. So please keep your profile on Inara up-to-date. http://inara.cz/wing/568

Discord

General etiquette. Post in the right channel. Don’t discuss RSC/RSG stuff in the Pilots Lounge. Don’t bicker.

If you have signed up at Inara as a member of the RSC and your username/tag on Discord does not say RS Recruit – message a RSC Flight Leader or a Moderator on Discord with your details.
